A leader in health and fitness since 1976, the OAC continues to follow its mission to enhance the quality of life through education of a healthy lifestyle, physical fitness and sport. At Ottawa's most established health and fitness club, we believe in the notion that showing children the value of sport early will lead to them making it an essential part of their lifestyle.
In addition to teaching the fundamentals of sport, the Ottawa Athletic Club summer camp program is designed to build self-esteem in campers as they learn to co-operate with others - all while having fun and making lasting new friendships! Our longevity gives parents peace of mind knowing that their children are happy and enjoying themselves under the guidance and careful supervision of our well-trained, experienced staff.
All camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with complimentary supervision provided from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Early morning drop-off (7:30 am.) and late pick-up (6:00 pm.) supervision is available for an additional $25.00 each per week per child, or both a.m. and p.m. for $40.00 per child.
All camps include daily Red Cross swimming lessons from qualified swim instructors (using the newly developed Red Cross Swim@Camp Program), a camp souvenir, Friday lunch, and an end-of-week progress report and achievement certificate. Golf and Tennis campers also receive an introduction to a variety of other racquet sports, beach volleyball and fitness to ensure an interesting and well-rounded program.
