Although the Winter Golf School’s season draws to a close at the end of April, the OAC’s Spring Golf School provides a seamless extension for those who prefer the membership format that offers unlimited balls and ongoing coaching. The Spring Golf School operates out of both The Falcon Ridge and Metcalfe Golf Clubs. Colin and Rebecca play host to an exciting season of private and semi-private lessons, video analysis and an excellent advanced coaching program to help you take your game to the next level.
At the Ottawa Athletic Club, our goal is to not only improve your golfing technique, but to enhance your enjoyment of the game as well. From our Junior Camp Program that introduces golf at an early age, to our wide range of clinics and lessons, the OAC’s Golf Program is second to none in providing a top notch golf environment for all ages and skill levels.
The Ottawa Athletic Club has some of the most experienced golf professionals in the country, led by Director of Golf, Colin Orr. In addition to his 11 years of experience with the OAC’s Winter Golf School, Colin enters his third year as Director of Golf at the Ottawa Athletic Club. Colin has competed both nationally and on the local CPGA Tour, and was voted assistant of the year in 1997. He also heads up our very successful summer Junior Camp Program.
Assisting Colin is Rebecca Mulville, a 6 year veteran of the OAC’s Winter Golf School. Rebecca is a certified Level 5 instructor with the CPGA and has been a member of the Association since 1999. She has competed on the Canadian Ladies Professional CN Tour, and has worked at some of the best golfing facilities in the area, including Hylands and The Royal Ottawa.
Of course, no program at the Ottawa Athletic Club would be complete without looking after our youngest golfers. Designed to present golf as a fun and exciting sport for today’s youth, the OAC’s Summer Golf Camp provides, through instruction from CPGA professionals, lessons on the rules and technical aspects of the game, complimented by weekly course outings.
