GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
FOCUS ON CARDIO
MAX MIX 60 or 75 A little bit of every style of choreography for maximum enjoyment. Expect a mix of hi/lo, kick box, salsa and the freestyle choreography that the OAC is famous for. Each instructor brings their own signature moves to this class!

CARDIO LIMIT Traditional hi-low aerobics spiced up with fun dance moves! Cardio Limit is a high energy, choreographed workout that challenges both your body and your mind. Designed for the experienced aerobicizer, you can cater these 60 minutes to your individual workout needs - from low intensity to your cardio limit! Enjoy and let the vivacious music guide you through!

STEP & STEP MANIA We offer the classic Basic to Intermediate style Step classes as well as the advanced choreography and intensity Step Mania workouts.

SALSA CARDIO Looking for a fun workout with a Salsa flair? Try this hot new style of choreography. You will enjoy a low impact workout that will leave you energized. Olé!

FOCUS ON STRENGTH
FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH This approach to strength training emphasizes core conditioning as well as upper and lower body strengthening. A variety of exercise equipment is used to foster safe, progressive challenges for all participants.

A.B.S. This challenging and fun sport and movement-specific activity represents functional training at its best. A.B.S (Abdominals, Balance, Stability) includes a number of integrated exercises that not only train the core but challenge the entire body using stability balls, dumbbells, and platforms. The primary goal of A.B.S. is to improve posture, joint stability, and balance, which works to benefit your functioning in day-to-day activities and other athletic endeavors.

BALL Come early to get a spot in this class! Our ball classes offer an alternative way to increase strength, stability, balance and good posture. The variety and effectiveness of the exercise options is astounding!

FOCUS ON CARDIO & STRENGTH
CARDIO PUMP These classes feature at least 30 minutes of cardio followed by muscle conditioning exercises using a variety of exercise equipment such as Body Bars, Balls, free weights, exercise bands etc…During cardio training both high and low impact options are demonstrated.

INTERVAL A high energy workout alternating simple hi/lo cardio with weight work. This great training approach is designed to increase your fitness level fast!

PHP (POWER HOUR PLUS) Our most advanced class on the group exercise schedule. One hour of hi/lo followed by thirty minutes of muscle conditioning. Make sure you eat your Wheaties before this one!

TRIFIT Put a combination of 3 styles of exercise together and you have TriFit! The instructor will offer a workout that includes cardio, strength and flexibility segments. The training modes will vary from class to class!

ATHLETIC TRAINING Athletic based workout including strength, agility, power, core, cardio - no dancy stuff here! The instructor will lead you through a series of cardio and strength stations to maximize your workout time. Ideal class format for those who prefer a great workout that is simply structured.

We also offer combination classes such as STEP & BALL and CARDIO BALL.

FOCUS ON FLEXIBILITY
STRETCH One hour of flexibility training with relaxing music and innovative moves makes this class an attractive option whether you are an athlete in training or just in need of better range of motion.

BASIC & INTERMEDIATE YOGA Our Yoga classes are of the Hatha style, therefore they will be gentle to moderate in pace with detailed, progressive instruction for the basic Yoga poses.

FOCUS ON STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY
PILATES A series of conditioning exercises done on a mat designed to improve and re-balance core strength, posture and alignment. Deceptively simple looking, the class can challenge the beginner as well as seasoned practitioners. Pilates is for all and is especially recommended for one sided sports such as golf and tennis.

BODY FUSION Body Fusion blends the stretch of yoga and the conditioning of Pilates with the awareness of postural training. Give this class a try. De-stress and go with the flow.

POWER YOGA This class will appeal to people who are already fit, enjoy exercising and want a more vigorous, physically demanding style of yoga that has a constant flow from one pose to the next.
