SWIMMING INSTRUCTORS
DEPARTMENT: Aquatics
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT:
Part Time - Day shifts
QUALIFICATIONS Must hold current Red Cross
Swimming Instructor, First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
(CPR) Certificate, National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate. Additional certifications are an asset.
EXPERIENCE Strong background in aquatic sports. Experience working with clients of all
ages and abilities.
SKILLS Prospective candidates should be ready to lead and instruct clients
of varying abilities and ages and possess patrol aquatic environments and be
able to provide emergency or first aid assistance if necessary. Candidates should
have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as they will be interacting
with children, parents, and club members as well as OAC personnel on a
regular basis.
